It is with great sadness that the IS-MPMI community mourns the loss of Dr. Federico Sanchez. Dr. Sanchez was a member of the IS-MPMI Board of Directors from 2006-2012, serving as a director in 2006 and as president of IS-MPMI from 2007-2009. Dr. Sanchez also contributed to MPMI as an associate editor from 1998-2006. Dr. Sanchez will be remembered as an inspiring scientist and an outstanding leader of our community.
