Building Careers in MPMI through Effective Mentoring
Sunday, 13 July | 12:30 PM - 2:45 PM
Ticket: $10 (10€)
Mentorship provides enormous support and guidance in building successful careers for mentees. The MPMI Assistant Features Editors (AFEs) aim to provide a platform for other IS-MPMI early career attendees to learn and gain insight into the power of mentorship in shaping careers. Attendees will hear talks from early- and mid-career professionals who will share stories on the influence of good mentors in shaping their careers and how to choose a potential mentor, as well as share their mentoring styles and how different mentoring strategies can be suited to different situations. Attendees will then participate in small group discussions on how they can develop good mentoring relationships to foster their personal growth and career development.
